Friend of The Fig Tree
Cross through a natural grove of wild fig trees, the sun warmed the earth, and the dry wind carried the scent of the trees and their fruit. An ode to the entire fig tree: the green freshness of the leaves, the density of the white wood, the milky flavour of the figs.
The flavour of the fruit takes a back seat to the white cedarwood. It celebrates the strength of the tree’s bark, warmed by the midday sun.
Inspired by the olfactory experience of Philosykos, but not affiliated with Diptyque.
