A vibrant, tea-inspired flat lay set against a dark, textured backdrop with a warm golden accent. The scene includes delicate tea cups, one topped with floral garnish and another with marmalade, alongside stroopwafels, lemon slices, caramel swirls, loose tea leaves, and vanilla beans. A green jar adds depth, while sprigs of fresh green leaves bring a natural element to the composition. Perfectly balanced, the setup evokes cozy indulgence with a sophisticated touch of citrus and sweetness.

Coconut note

On the hunt for an earl grey FO, I picked up this one. Tested on a scent strip, it is nice and bright with a hint of black tea smell. It lacks a bergamot note so it’s more inspired by earl grey, but you can tell that’s where it’s trying to go. The base is warm and sweet, but over time there’s a very obvious coconut note that takes over. Now when I open the FO the coconut smell is instant. The following day the scent strip smells only like coconut. Like the compound C-18 with maybe some vanillin or ethyl vanillin to hold it up, but there’s a big disconnect between the base and top notes. This FO would work for beachy themed things I think, and could be used mixed with other FOs.

I am making a series of Canada candles, and this fits the bill for one of my second FAV spot in Canada. This smells so good OOB, can't wait to make it in wax and see how it smells. I immediately knew it was for this candle.
